May 2023 Silent Book Club (Dust Child)

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander month (AAPI) in May, we will be reading the book Dust Child by Nguyen Phan Que Mai. 

What is the silent book club?

1. We come together to read any book for the first half hour. Some people may choose not to read the selected book for the month. 

2. In the next hour, we talk about the book (in a separate Zoom room for people who want to read their own book silently).

3. In the last half hour, we go back to the main room and read silently again until the end.
